Leckey Pronestander
At home or school – the Leckey Pronestander offers children the support they require.
With an intuitive system, children will learn to stand upright step-by-step as the Pronestander inclines forward at five different angles. Children will start out tilted far ahead in the prone position, once the child becomes accustomed to this angle and the muscles have strengthened sufficiently, gradually you can place the supportmore upright until the child is standing straight.
Easy user transfer is achieved by using standing slings or transfer belts. The robust design is ideally suited to the classroom, therapy room and home environments.
Available in 3 sizes, covering a large growth range from 1-18 years of age, the Leckey Pronestander comes as standard with individually adjustable chest, hip, knee and sandal supports ensuring the product meets a large range of clinical needs.
The unique positioning achieved by the pelvic belt enables de-rotation of the hips; alignment of the pelvis and centre of gravity over their base of support; accommodation or correction of flexion at the hips and knees.
